Bark + Trek Adventures provides dogs with what they want most—freedom to explore and friends.
Bark and Trek Adventures are one-hour, off-leash walks on local trails.
Dogs are free to explore, play or just walk.
Can your dog join an adventure walk?
Dogs must be good with other dogs and be comfortable riding in the car with them and must have manners when encountering people and other dogs.
Dogs need to be able to stay with the group and have a decent recall.
Dogs must be at least 30 pounds and 5 months or older.
A commitment to the weekly walks is expected since the space is reserved for your dog.

Walk times are 9 AM, 11:30 AM and 3 PM
The walks are coordinated so that the dogs live close to one another and only have to be in the car 15-20 minutes. It can be stressful for some of them to be in close quarters and all of them are excited to get to the trail!
Bark + Trek is ideal for working parents since dogs are picked up and dropped off.
Dogs work on recall during the walks.
New dogs are added on a trial basis to ensure they can stay with the group and behave appropriately.
Walks are $30 per dog.
Maureen is an unusually kind and capable dog handler. She walks and cares for our 2 dogs and we must be very careful not to say the word “Maureen” at our home or they will run around the house looking out the windows expecting to see her. Maureen adds important training to her walks and as a result the dogs in the “pack” she’s leading on any given day follow her lead. We highly recommend her service.

Maureen is definitely a dog whisperer! Ollie has been walking with Maureen for all of his 12 years! He loves his hour long walks with Maureen and it was on his long walks that he was socialized to get along with other dogs when he was a puppy! Maureen also includes feeding Ollie his dinner after his walks since I get home late most evenings. She cares deeply for each of the dogs that she walks and she has always asked to help with ideas to help with his health problems. She goes way above what’s expected and even helped shovel out a walkway for Ollie at my house during the huge snowfall that fell. I’d trust her with any animal!! She’s the best!
